Rates:
I generally charge $40 an hour for creative work and $30 an hour for editing/management work. For large or complex projects I like to chat with a potential client to determine the client’s wants & needs, a general vision, and expectations in terms of time & budget. Then I’m able to work up a written proposal-estimate.
For simpler projects, I can often estimate based on my experience with certain types of projects. For example:
- creating a header/banner for a Website, Etsy store or Facebook page is $100
- creating a header and/or other graphics for a Facebook page and setting it all up is $250
- creating a basic well-coded theme for an already-existing WordPress site is $300
- setting up a new WordPress site AND creating a custom theme for it is $500
Other types of projects can be negotiated and estimated once we’ve had a chance to discuss particulars.
